Mackintosh Braun Make Their Chop Shop Records Debut

The two are very in-tune with each other (no pun intended) and immediately hit it off when they met — thanks to Ben’s father’s realtor! Their bopping pop sound also manages to effect on a deeper level, a fresh and killer combination.

Their self-released debut album, The Sound, included the song, “Wake Up,” which was featured on an episode of NBC hit TV show, “Chuck.” The band then quickly found they were more readily recognized, but even with Chop Shop Records behind them, Ian and Ben produced and mixed the entire Where We Are album themselves.

They want their music to move people — physically and emotionally. One listen of “Could It Be” or “Unfortunate” and you’ll know they accomplished that goal.
