Luenell is big, blonde and boisterous. You might remember her as the feisty, hard to handle prostitute in the major motion picture, Borat. Born in a small town in Arkansas, Luenell realized she had a passion for acting while in grade school and enrolled herself in theater classes. She has acted in several films such as So I Married An Axe Murderer with Mike Myers and Never Die Alone with DMX, but she is best known for her role in Borat with Sacha Baron Cohen.
It wasn't an easy road for the plus-sized comedy queen. Luenell's life changed dramatically in 1995. Her mother died and soon after she found out she was pregnant. After giving birth to her daughter, Da'Nelle, who she says is her miracle child, she went through a series of ups and downs, resulting in a four month jail sentence. She was recognized by the inmates for her regular appearances on BET's Comic View. When Luenell completed her sentence she reconnected with her manager, William Hanford Lee Jr., and together they have been working on big things in her career. Luenell is a fighter whose talent has allowed her another chance to build a successful empire.Young Hollywood believes that Luenell is a hard working, confident comedienne who will soon be a household name. She has just completed shooting three films, Divine Intervention, Spring Breakdown starring Will Arnett and Amy Poehler and All About Steve with Sandra Bullock.
