Ladies! Don’t pile on pounds of makeup. What are you, a Kardashian? Get Kristen Stewart’s red-carpet look in 4 steps! Firstly, note that I am in no way suggesting there is such thing as natural beauty. Girlfriend, please! This is Hollywood, did "The Hills" teach you nothing? What I am saying is that more and more layers of product don’t necessarily make the wearer look prettier by the coat. In fact, it often makes one look significantly older and, shall we say, streetwise. If you’re not catching my drift then I’ll put it point blank: Dayshift hooker is not a cute look. Our Lady of Twilight, K-Stew, pulled out full glam with minimal makeup, at the Oscars no less. Professional makeup guru and Avon Global Creative Color Director, Jillian Dempsey, told People how to expertly apply the look in 4 steps.
1: Create a flawless base with foundation (Jillian used Armani Silk Luminous Foundation) and accent with blush. (Kristen wore Shu Uemura Blush in Peach 45). 2: Pump up eyes with a crisp yet deep-set color. (Jillian used Avon True Color Eyeshadow in Midnight Plum on lids followed by her own brand, Jillian Dempsey for Avon, Kohl Eyeliner in Black). 3: Make the lashes pop. (Jillian uses DiorShow Mascara in Blackout). 4: Fill in lips with light, pale color. (Jillian applied her Avon brand in peachy Twice as Nice to Kristen’s lips).
Jillian sought to create an "edgy glam, with a clean, youthful feeling" for Kristen. Mission accomplished!
