The "Mad Men" star ate it up at the Emmys with Komodo gourmet catering -- the food truck to the stars!

Here in Hollywood, some of the hottest places to eat are on the go. Discover the joy of the gourmet meals on wheels! Trucks like the one Komodo rolls in are classic in body style, but newly furbished with high-tech kitchens and fancy condiments stations on the outside. Bright designs adorn the exterior, full-color menus are on display, and the noms are delicious.

After hearing so many celebs rave about the Komodo truck, it was certainly worth a try when they hit my neighborhood. Sometimes you just have to see what all the fuss is about.

With $10 combos, the prices are moderate. Everything is cooked to order, so there is a wait -- and usually a line. Popular trucks like Komodo can draw a huge crowd.

The tacos are served open faced, pilling with goodies. Highly recommended is the Komodo 2.0 -- seared skirt steak with jalapeno and southwest corn salad. As with all fancy food, the flavor combinations are interesting, including equally delicious yet odd-sounding deep-fried Alaskan cod with grape salad taco. When this dragon says spicy, be prepared to get wet with fire. The blazin’ shrimp is no joke. Be warned!
