She first popped up on the Hollywood scene as fellow socialite, Paris Hilton's, best friend and therefore became a favorite of the gossip columns. Now, Kim Kardashian is making a bigger name for herself in the fashion and television industry. The pretty and petite powerhouse grew up in Beverly Hills as the child of businessman and infamous O.J. Simpson trial defense attorney, Robert Kardashian. After her parents divorced, her mother married Olympian, Bruce Jenner, making Kim a part of a modern day Brady Bunch that includes not only her sisters, Kourtney and Khloe and brother, Robert, but also made her the stepsister to reality television star and frequent clubber, Brody Jenner.As a young woman, she worked at her father's music marketing firm, Movie Tunes, but her passion to be an entrepreneur eventually took over. She parlayed her instincts for business into a career as a wardrobe stylist for television shows, music videos, infomercials and fashion photo layouts. Kim's eye for fashion, detail, and organization also led her into the closet makeover business.
