What is Kandyland? We grew up playing the board game and fantasizing about Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Now as adults, we still crave candy (especially during Holidays), yet thanks to the Karma Foundation, we have a whole new reason to love scrumptious treats.

If the old adage is true, girls are made of sugar, and spice and everything nice and the Playboy Mansion encompasses sheer extravagance and fantasy .then it only seems appropriate, that the yummiest, most delectable girls wrapped in cellophane and body paint should be a theme at Hef's palatial estates.

This was the vision that Dylan Marer, the producer of Kandyland wanted and is exactly what he created. One entered through an enchanting passage way with actual Oompah Loompas joyfully harmonizing in unison while sharing their special, sugary concoctions with visitors as they entered this unbelievable world of yumminess. Kandyland, has now been titled as the Sexiest & Tastiest Party of the Year and rightly so. This year at the Second Annual, Kandyland Extravaganza, guests were enthralled with Go-Go dancers gyrating seductively performing to Welcome to the Candy Shop, while Playboy Cyberchics happily handed out tasty treats.

There were looming 10 foot lollipops, over-sized pieces of candy strategically placed throughout the grounds, cotton candy pillars, secluded cabanas and luscious, lively delicacies sexily sauntering about the pool area and grotto. These delicacies gave a whole new definition to eye candy and having your cake and eating it too.

The lovely ladies that attended said that they were invigorated by the body paint and how it made them feel comfortable in their own skin and Young Hollywood was there to capture them in their sweet glory. Dylan Marer enticed all of your senses and created an evening of sheer fantastical delight. There were many surprises throughout the evening: an enviable guest list (which included Dave Navarro and Three 6 Mafia), world renowned DJ's, breathtaking beauties, and it was complete with an unexpected visit from Hef himself which, truly topped off the evening like that extra dollop of whip cream on your favorite desert. The night could not have been any sweeter and the best part of all is that Kandyland was created for all the right reasons as it's set up to benefit worthy charities such as this year's benefactor, Marconi Kids Foundation.

If you were one of the attendees this year, it is more than likely you'll return to see what new flavors will attend next year's event. Kandyland, 2008 is sure to bring unimaginable treats, especially if Dylan Marer has anything to do with it.
