Justin Bieber goes Hollywood

Fans of Justin Bieber didn't hear him on the radio. He wasn't shoved down everybody's throat via some dimwitted reality show or manufactured singing competition. Justin was discovered the old fashioned way, by his musical skills, on the world's new talent scout, YouTube!

Born in Stratford, Ontario, on March 14, 1994, this young Canadian taught himself music. He's self-taught in piano, drums, guitar and trumpet. Once he started performing, he wanted to make sure all his family and friends could see what he was pimping on stage. Natch, he started putting his stuff on YouTube so everybody could take note. They did.

His covers of superstar artists such as Stevie Wonder, Ne-Yo, Justin Timberlake and Michael Jackson caught the attention of manager Scooter Braun, who saw Justin's vids and gave it 5-stars. Then he flew the musical tween to Atlanta, where they met with Usher and signed him to Island Records.

Now, he's gone Hollywood! Justin made his MTV award show debut with Miranda Cosgrove at the 2009 MTV VMAs, as they introduced Taylor Swift.

Justin is currently working on and promoting his debut album, My World, which will be released in November. You can catch him on morning shows and at radio station appearances across the US as he breaks into fame.

He's KidRauhl on YouTube - peep his video for his single "˜One Les Lonely Girl' there and connect with Justin at mySpace.com/justinbieber
