Amazing simple things can save a ton of waste. Quite literally and probably more so. I noticed, for example, that I was using disposable silverware almost exclusively at lunch. After shopping around (one of my favorite activities), I bought an office dinner set. Now I don't dispose of my utensil after lunch at work.

There's a little more effort, yes. Also, the fork, spoon or whatever has to be cleaned, dried and stored away. That's what a pencil box, a cloth napkin and a desk drawer are for.

At home, it's almost overwhelming because there are so many things it's hard to know where to begin.
