From making friends and family laugh at a young age to getting his own standup special on Comedy Central, Jo Koy has a successful passion for making people laugh.Born in Tacoma, Washington, Koy credits his mom for his talents. As a young child, his mother encouraged him to enter in school talent shows and perform in front of family and friends. That comedic experience led him to his first gig to Las Vegas in 1996.Since then, he has been named one of the 10 comics to watchù of 2007 by Daily Variety and he has appeared on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Last Call with Carson Daly. His energetic performances on stage, recently landed him a half hour special on Comedy Central.Koy also is a regular featured comedian at the world famous Laugh Factory, where YH had the chance to hang out with the performer backstage. He made us laugh, and we're certain he will do the same for you!
