So what have you accomplished so far in 2010?

Got this postcard from Jessica Biel, Emile Hirsch, Lupe Fiasco, Santigold, and Kenna (Grammy nominated musician). In the first 12 days in 2010, these guys hiked 50 miles up Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to raise awareness of the Global Clean Water Crisis.

Thanks to some technology partners (HP, Intel) they emailed me this digital postcard from the Summit (about 3 miles up in to the sky). Yup, their blog from the snow is 87 times cooler than mine.

Emile sent this email from the summit:

"The last 48 hours have been the most intense and physically grueling experience of my life, miraculously we all made it to the top together. To have such a complete success for such a worthwhile cause "" the global clean water crisis - more than reaching the summit is what is really satisfying."

To put this in perspective, this came from the guy who went Into the Wild on film a few years ago.

Well desk-jockeys, it's going to take a lot of trips to the gym to match this. Congrats to the group, and I truly wish I was there. Rumor has it MTV has jumped on board and will be showing some crazy footage of the final ascent on Sunday night, March 14. Set your Tivos now.
