I knew my name in lingerie would get a lot of attention, Jaime Pressly said in 2003 of her new business plan. Backed by her own money, the blistering hot star of My Name is Earl launched J'aime, a lingerie and sleepwear line that has now evolved into a complete clothing line winning praise in the fashion world.

Jaime, who also lists an extensive modeling career on her resume, knew what she wanted in a clothing line. J'aime is a knit line encompassing the three key elements women look for when buying clothing: fit, feel and fashion.

She starts with luxuriously soft fabric and body conscious designs, and then incorporates layering to her interchangeable pieces, making them incredibly versatile.

J'aime, a play on her name that also means 'I love' in French, initially sold in high-end LA. Boutiques, including Belle Gray and Magnolia.

Her carefully crafted line eventually won the attention of fashion critics as well as investors and licensees. Jaime, however, was determined to keep her company going on her own terms and with her own money. She says, I didn't want to go in and just do the licensing deal and not be able to design. It's the act of creating that I enjoy.

Her new, complete line of clothing launched in October 2005 during LA Fashion week to rave reviews. J'aime has established itself in the top boutiques in Los Angeles, including Lisa Kline, M Fredric, and Dale Michele & Harmonie in Venice.
