Even though I had no idea what the Spice Girls were singing about in the '90s (what exactly IS a "zig-a-zig-ah"?), they still undoubtably ruled the decade and I was obsessed with them. The Spice Girls were, and still remain, icons, but when they broke up, the party was over.
Now, the super group is spicing up everyone’s lives once again by auctioning off some pieces from their trendsetting wardrobe!
Some of the items up for auction that you can expect to see will include leopard print catsuits, mini dresses, jump suits, baby-doll tops, platform sneakers, and other fantastic looks from the Spice Girls.
These girls are icons for a reason, and I am not only talking about their fashion sense -- All of the proceeds from the auction are going to the charities Save The Children and Children In Need.
As if this news alone isn’t something to be excited about, this auction will kick off alongside the launch of the Spice Girls musical titled Viva Forever! The new musical will feature several of the group’s hits and will premiere in London on December 11, 2012.
Although the auction and musical don’t start until later this year, I am anxious for the power house girl group to once again add a bit of spice into our lives!
