It’s the chambray shirt phenomenon! Just about everyone under the sun owns one. Celebs, fashion bloggers, and street strollers alike are rocking this staple piece! Once you see the pictures below, you’ll understand why this denim shirt should be hanging in your closet and not on a rack at J.Crew. If you’re worried about it going out of style, fear not, my friends! This timeless, classic piece is here to say! And trust me, you will attempt to wear it everyday. You know the “no one saw me yesterday, so I’ll wear the same thing today” idea? Yes, I’ll be the first to admit it!

 

There aren’t too many styles that compliment both men and women. The denim shirt is definitely an exception. These celebs show you that the chambray has no sexual preference! Check out how these men styled their shirt -- Hottie Jake Gyllenhaal wears his chambray with a pair of khakis and boots. For a more polished look, you can throw on a pair of skinny jeans and swagger tennis shoes like Kanye West. If you want to compete with the sexiest man alive, Bradley Cooper, than pair your denim shirt with boot cut jeans. You can also add a tie like Zac Efron.

 

 

 

Ladies, the same rule applies. You can wear your chambray with denim jeans, but aim for some color contrast.
