How to Party Like a (Green) Superstar

FUN FACT: Did you know that the gold medals Shaun and other Olympian champs, like Lindsey Vonn and Bode Miller, are wearing around their necks are partially made out of recycled materials? True story! The Vancouver medals contain about 2% e-waste taken from gold-plated electronic parts.
Everywhere you go, people are finding new and creative ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle.
So why is it that when you go to a party there's an ugly back trash bag awkwardly hanging in some makeshift manner? Plus, have you ever noticed that even at really fancy fair, recyclables typically end up getting mixed in with the trash or left strewn about like Ke$ha stormed through the place (like, because she's a mess)?
Bay Area inventor Ed Austin created a solution called Flings Bins, which sell for about $3-4 dollars. These convenient, portable, compact bins snap open accordion-style to roughly the size of a tall kitchen bin, sporting a 13-gallon capacity. His simple idea has taken Hollywood by storm, and Flings Bins are on the other side of the velvet rope at some of the most exclusive events in town.
The reason I'm so emphatic (word of the day, look it up) about recycling is because it's so damn easy -- and yet people don't do it! With the proper mindset, it truly takes very little effort to do the right thing. Plus, your next post-party cleanup will be handled without the hassle. There, I've just made life a little better for you. You're welcome!
