"If I never had to see the inside of a gym again, I'd be a very happy person," Reese has said. "There's people who love it and it's just their thing." Jessica agrees, having said, "I have to look good but I hate to exercise. I get so bored so I just do anything that keeps me from wanting to kill myself when I am in the gym, like listening to my music on level 100." There are so many reasons to be active, yet equally as many to despise the process - especially considering the cost involved in monthly rates and parking fees. We love beauty at a bargain, which is why at-home fitness is leading the way to rock-hard bodies at a fraction of the cost. When Valerie Bertinelli lost 40 pounds on Jenny Craig, she took her journey further than just weight loss - she wanted to gain muscle and get in the best shape of her life. It may sound like a gimmick, but you can workout and still lose inches without lifting heavy weights or going to the gym. Not everybody wants the world watching them while they sweat. Sweat still being a must, of course. The Jenny Craig spokesmodel and her trainer Christopher Ross Lane talked to Rachael Ray about the plan that has the 49-year old Valerie in sculpted bikini-body shape. "[Christopher] came up with a program that was so simple. Not easy, but simple," Valerie said on RR. Her new exercise DVD is called Losing It and Keeping Fit. "It still takes a lot to do," she added, "but we need to tell everybody, because anybody can do this. We did it in my living room." Sure, she's your mom, but good advice is good advice.
