Get your game on! In Hollywood one minute you're up, the next you're down. Just like a certain game called dominos.

Creating a new, movie-themed inspiration on the game, Hollywood Dominos is a board game that plays out like a movie.

It's already making waves with A-Listers - they even held a celebrity tournament with the likes of Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore and Leonardo DiCaprio.

I got the deets from Daya Fernandez, co-creator of the new fad.

I grew up loving dominos! We'd stack them around the house for hours. While Hollywood Dominos is played like a board game, can you set them up and knock them down like other kits? Of course you can! Hollywood Domino is played with different rules and has new twist, but it still has the basics of classic dominoes. So yes you can set them up and knock them all down!

Do you have to be a movie buff to play? Not at all. The Hollywood aspect of it is just a theme. In this game you are playing to become the best director. You chose the movie genre that you like, make cameo appearances in other players game, walk the red carpet and do a movie sequel or trilogy. What we did is to transform the classic game of dominoes by adding a twist and creating new rules that increase excitement and suspense.

I'm sold! What inspired this game in particular? I grew up in Puerto Rico , where playing dominoes it's part of our culture. About two years ago I started playing dominoes here in Hollywood with my friends. We started by having game nights every week, and then it escalated to small tournaments. We all got very competitive and that's were the idea of creating a new version of dominoes came.

Any variations on the game? One of the ways I played it with my friends it for money. Either a dollar a point or putting down a certain amount of money into a bucket that at the end of the game the winner collects! There are many ways you can play it to make it more fun, competitive and creative.

I'm all about it! Game night can get just as crazy as a wild, club-fueled weekend. Without the hangover.
