Maroon 5 has hit it big lately, releasing three big singles that fall into the category of Songs of the Summer. Earlier, Maroon 5 hit us with two major songs, "Moves like Jagger", featuring Christina Aguilera, and "Payphone" featuring Wiz Khalifa, but they didn’t stop there... Maroon 5 released their fourth

studio album, Overexposed, on June 26, featuring a new single titled "One More Night". And if the enthralling voice of Adam Levine wasn’t enough to captivate you, the band has released a sexy video to accompany the single; and by sexy, we mean we get so see Adam Levine topless for more that 50% of the nearly four-minute video.

 

The video, featuring Minka Kelly, portrays a young dysfunctional family. It is apparent in the beginning of the video that there is a strain in the relationship, as Kelly does not support Levine’s boxing career, and by the end of the video, it is clear that Kelly has left him as he walks into an empty house. But the big question that has us up is -- does the new single have anything to do with Levine’s recent split from girlfriend Anne V? Levine and Anne dated for two years and split in early April, after there were reports of an argument dating back to January of this year. If, in fact, there is a correlation between the relationship and the single, Levine would have had about three months to put the song together. So, coincidence or not, we’ll leave it up to you to decide that one.

 

 

 

Since Maroon 5’s start in 2002, the band has come back time and time again to surprise us with fresh material. The band has certainly proved that some things do get better with age, and I am looking forward to what they have in store for the future!
