I was super excited to talk to two of the very talented people behind MSN's Style Studio Glam Squad -- Nick Verreos from Project Runway' season 2 and celebrity makeup artist Troy Jensen -- and they did not disappoint!Nick says his goal to make everyone fabulous, regardless of their proximity to a big city. That's not all it's about, he says. Recently, I was in 5 cities in 6 days, not everyone is Lindsay Lohan. Any girl, he says emphatically, you can have your own red carpet. Before the segments, the producers ask for his ideas about each topic. I have to do my homework, which is great, he tells me.That's my work ethic, he adds. I like to make sure that I have my hand in it.When he was asked to do a line of prom dress, I wanted to be involved, not just approving final designs. That's how Nick rolls. And I love it.Troy, who I'm pretty sure has given good face to just about everyone in Hollywood, really knows how to take it to the next level. The man is a makeup master! He tells me that his high-end work for print and runway is not meant to literally represent what women should be wearing on a daily basis. With the Glam Squad, he aims to keep them on trend, but also inspire them to go beyond beige and brown. Of course, he also offers a wide variety of tips, from how to make the best of your features to applying fake eyelashes. Beyond that, he's a big proponent of daily skincare such as wearing sunscreen. As for where to buy your products? Get what you need at a drug store, but have that special gem product, he says. Right now he's loving the Dior spray makeup. It's perfect for evening out any complexion.I asked the guys to give me a couple color tips and must haves for summer -- the trend this year is definitely fun, big and bold.COLOR: Deep coral/bright salmon as the main piece. You don't have to be matchy-matchy, Nick says. He suggests: a lemon yellow cardigan or shawl or something, it's all about mixing.Makeup this summer is 60s, really fun and a bit mod, Troy says. Think Marianne Faithful: edgy rock girl.Coupled with some chunky jewelry, you're totally set for the season. For more style and beauty tips, visit: lifestyle.msn.com/stylestudio --Wes
