We all fell for Dev Patel in Slumdog, The basic premise is simple. There are four nations; Earth, Wind, Water and Fire in a global battle for power. The Avatar is charged with bringing peace to the world. The story follows his journey through the nations and a chat of characters that rivals Harry Potter's roster. Though it's easy enough to explain, the elements of philosophy, friendship, honor and love make it complicated. The series officially ended its run last year, but you can get the full story on a three book DVD set - each featuring 20 chapters of the most intricate cartoon I've ever watched. Unlike other series, Avatar has a singularly focused plot that concluded with a grand finale. Bonus: the flick also stars Jackson Rathbone, who plays Jasper Hale in The Twilight Saga: New Moon Sold! How soon can I book advance tickets?
