FRS Healthy Energy

Let's get physical! Lance Armstrong has a new energy alternative that promotes good health.

I admit that I have a consumer attitude (hello, shopping) and like to try new things. Also being into health and fitness, my eyes are always peeled for the latest products. I also like free stuff.

If it's good enough for Lance, I figured I might very well benefit by signing up for the free two week trial.

The best part is that you're not limited to energy drinks out of a can. Options are good. Though they offer several energy drink flavors, there are little to-go powder mix packets and liquid concentrations (both mix with water).

Then there are the soft chews, which are like little energy candies. Delicious!

It's good to be cautious when considering claims made by food companies. You really have to look at the ingredients. In the interest of science, let's look at the research!

FRS uses quercetin to deliver an energized antioxidant punch. Quercetin, found in apple skins, blueberry skins, onion skins, and spinach, has other health benefits too - such as anti-inflammatory properties.

You get another boost with Vitamins C, E, B6 and B12. Also has other good stuff like Gingko Biloba.

To increase fiber content, replace sugar, lower calories and reduce fat, FRS uses Polydextrose. Yah, it's a big fancy word. Basically it's just a common sugar derivative that also stimulates healthy bacteria in the colon. Sexy, I know.

All in all, there is very little caffeine and no sugar with few calories.

The company delivers right to your home, so you deal directly with them rather than buy off the shelves. Hence, it's available everywhere. Good deal!
