Did they ever get off that island? Where they really even on the island at all? It’s been two years since we’ve said goodbye to the cast of "Lost" and we can’t help but wonder if they’ve gone off the map or stayed on Hollywood’s radar. Let’s find out!
Jorge Garcia: The actor, who was the first to be cast in "Lost", has had many other projects since saying goodbye to the Island. Garcia has guest-starred on shows like "How I Met Your Mother" and "Fringe" as well as starred in "Alcatraz" as Dr. Diego Soto. Unfortunately, the show only lasted thirteen episodes; however, it seems that the 39-year-old actor has kept busy, as one of his new projects, a comedy called Get A Job (ironic, no?), is in post-production.
Naveen Andrews: The 43-year-old actor can be seen playing Naomi Watts’s love interest, Dr. Hasnat Khan, in the Princess Diana biopic, Diana, that is currently filming in Beachy Head, East Sussex.
Matthew Fox: You can catch the former spinal surgeon of the Island in three upcoming projects: Emperor, a movie set at the end of WWII, in which Fox plays the character of General Bonner Fellers; Alex Cross, a very buzzed about fall film in which he plays a creepy villain(!); and World War Z.
Josh Holloway: Since the southern stud stopped filming "Lost", we couldn’t help but wonder when we’d be able to drool all over our televisions again. Other than starring in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol in 2011, Holloway’s film Battle of the Year: Dream Team is currently in post-production. Holloway is also in the process of shooting the action-thriller Paranoia, set to release sometime in 2013.
Daniel Dae Kim: Kim quickly found work following the end of "Lost". He has been with the cast of "Hawaii Five-0" since 2010 and currently lends his voice as Hiroshi Sato in the TV series "The Legend of Korra".
Yunjin Kim: The actress that shares the last name of her on-screen beau has been just as busy! The stunning beauty lends her voice to Sleeping Dogs, a video game, as the character of Tiffany. Her new movie, Neighbors, is currently in post-production.
Evangeline Lily: Everyone’s favorite freckled beauty has certainly been busy! Lily plays the part of Tauriel in all three of The Hobbit movies – two of which are currently in post-production.
Terry O’Quinn: John Locke, who? The 60-year-old actor shows no signs of slowing down his acting career! From TV movies ("Hallelujah" and "Taken from Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story") and guest starring on "Hawaii Five-0" with former cast mate Daniel Dae Kim to shooting the pilot for the new series "666 Park Avenue" (premiering September 30), there’s no stopping Terry O’Quinn!
Michael Emerson: The actor, whose role as Locke's main frenemy Ben Linus earned him an Emmy Award, can currently be seen keeping his acting chops flexed on CBS's "Person of Interest", whose 2nd season is slated to begin on September 27.
Ian Somerhalder: Although his character, Boone, was killed off in the first season, Somerhalder returned to "Lost" as a recurring guest star throughout the six seasons. He is now best known for his portrayal of Damon Salvatore on the hit show "The Vampire Diaries" and for actively supporting various eco-friendly organizations.
Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje: Talk about keeping busy! The London native has been involved in tons of projects since his character’s untimely death in "Lost". In fact, it was recently announced that Akinnuoye-Agbaje has joined the cast of Marvel's Thor: The Dark World as one of the lead villains. He will be playing the dual roles of Kurse and Algrim.
While we all may be sad (and confused, because, hey, it’s "Lost") that The Island is no longer alive on television, we can still catch our favorite stars on both the big and small screens around Hollywood. Happy watching!
