First 'Avengers' Trailer Released!

This is it, you guys. The big one. The show we’ve all been waiting for. The reason Captain America: First Avenger, Thor, and the two Iron Man movies were made.

Oh, you thought those were just super-cool stand-alone superhero flicks? Nah. They were basically multi-million dollar 2.5-hour long trailers for what’s to come in May 2012 (other than the Apocalypse), mere teasers of the uninhibited epicness of Joss Whedon’s conglomerate of awesome known as The Avengers.

At long last, the first official trailer has been released for the movie that brings together Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Chris Evans’s Captain America, Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man, and throws in Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner, Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye, and Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow for good measure. If you thought the other separate movies were pretty dang spectacular on their own, wait until these super-peeps get together to join forces. We think it’ll look a little something like this:

 

 

Too. Much.

Now we just have to get DC on the ball and throw together a Justice League flick starring Christian Bale, Henry Cavill, Ryan Reynolds, and Adrianne Palicki. Who’s with me??

Well, until then, The Avengers crashes into theatres May 4, 2012.
