With the Fall season officially here, we all want to pick up some new items to spruce up our wardrobes. But why not shop and donate a few bucks to charity at the same time? Swarovski Crystallized and Westward Learning have two products that will keep you fashion-forward while giving back for a good cause.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Swarovski Crystallized has designed a unique bracelet with a portion of the proceeds supporting the American Breast Cancer Foundation. For eight years, Swarovski has teamed with the ABCF to design jewelry pieces that are not only stylish but bring awareness and raise money to support a worthy cause. This Entwined Glamour bracelet is made with rose-colored crystals and is available at the Swarovski Crystallized concept store in NYC as well as online. Layer with your watch or other bracelets and add a little bling to your outfit!
Meanwhile, San Francisco-based sunglass company Westward Leaning has joined forces with luxury retailer Opening Ceremony for the exclusive launch of Westward’s most popular shades, the “Color Revolution”. This marks the first time Westward Leaning has ever sold their glasses in any retailer. Featuring ultra-reflective, neon-coated lenses in orange, pink and blue -- honoring the colors of the revolutionary movements that have brought about democratic change throughout the world -- these chic shades have been spotted on some big name celebrity faces, like Justin Bieber, Natalie Portman, and Selena Gomez. $10 of each pair sold goes to support Reporters Without Borders, which works to protect front-line journalists reporting on social revolutions.
Westward is famous for its one universally-flattering, unisex shape based off the classic Wayfarer design that incorporates a distinct embellishment. The sunglass models each have a name, story, and unique material in honor of a person, place, or organization that has contributed to social progress. The “Color Revolution" is now available at Opening Ceremony retail stores in New York, Ace Hotel New York, London and Los Angeles and online.
