Kelly Ripa, Britney Spears, and the celebs on Dancing with the Stars have a secret. They fake it. That perfect sun-kissed glow has nothing to do with nature. In Hollywood, we can't afford wrinkles from the sun. Or like, at all. Besides the potential for dermal damage, tanning under the sun doesn't allow the same control over the end result. Even extremely pale folks like me can sunbathe and walk away red - or with no color at all. The key is finding a good solution that won't leave you orange or spotty. Look no further than Fake Bake, Hollywood's favorite fake tan in a can! As with any self-tanning product, you have to pretty masterful (and rather flexible) to give yourself full coverage. It's totally possible, but it takes skill. I suggest enlisting a friend to help or starting with a good spray from a salon or home service. As a base coat or to extend a professional spray, Fake Bake offers their Instant Spray Tan, an airbrush applicator that delivers a fine mist of color. It's instant, like the name says, so you can see where it's going. If you get a little heavy handed, it rubs right in - just wash your hands with soap immediately after. One time I got a fake tan and totally forgot to wash my hands right afterwards. I ended up with caca thumb for about three days. You don't want that. Besides their perfect airbrush product, Fake Bake offers Bronze Butter, Bronze Gel, Body Scrub (a must before applying color) and a light Oil-Free Moisturizer, available in stores or at their website: http://fakebake.com
