As a woman, if your fashion style is all about exploring your individuality and your feminine side, then the clothing lines, English Clientele and English Clientele Collection, are the perfect collections for you. The lines cater to every woman, from the professional woman who likes to be elegant and glamorous to the woman who just wants something affordable and wearable. Both lines consist of tops, shirts, jackets and evening and cocktail dresses, and they are created by the owner and designer, Mike Sam.Mike Sam is known for dressing some of the biggest names in Hollywood and actually gets most of his ideas while designing items for stars like America Ferrera, Dita Von Teese, Hayden Panettiere and Kristin Cavallari. Mike moved to California at the age of six and, due to some mentoring from his grandma, was able to sew dresses at the age of fourteen. Upon graduating high school, Mike joined the United States Air Force and, while stationed in Europe, often travelled around to places like France, England and Spain to view all the different fashions. In 1990 he returned to the States to go to college and landed several jobs in the entertainment business. He became the fashion editor of Instinct magazine and soon after started to work as a costume designer, completing several feature films. He has also been credited for over 100 fashion covers and editorials. Currently, he works as the fashion editor for 13 Minutes magazine and spends his free time speaking to fashion students at Long Beach City College.English Clientele Collection, launched in 2006, is the mid-priced line of clothing. It caters more to the professional woman who wants to add a touch of elegance to her wardrobe and is inspired by the fashions of the 1940s. Retail prices range from $98 to $800. By comparison, English Clientele, also launched in 2006, is a couture line that consists of high-end, made to order clothing. Retail prices for this line range from $420 to $3,000. English Clientele will soon be expanding its high-end line to include couture line Life & Luxe. The Fall 2008 line will be debuting this Spring during Saint Louis Fashion Week.Both lines have been seen on the hottest stars of Young Hollywood today, such as Miley Cyrus, Emma Roberts, Ashley Tisdale and Carrie Underwood. The collections have also been featured in magazines like Vogue, Genlux, Ocean Drive and 944. English Clientele and English Clientele Collection are currently available in boutiques nationwide and abroad.
