Ellie Goulding Emotes in "Figure 8" Video

Hot off the heels of some new Florence + the Machine goodness comes our other favorite little singing wood nymph Ellie Goulding with her latest offering to the music videos goddesses. Electropop’s fairy princess just released “Figure 8”, the second single off her second album, Halcyon, and this tune takes more on more of a rock vibe, leaning closer to Evanescence than Skrillex. 
 
And like her U.K. cuz Florence Welch, Ellie also goes a more literal route from her usual esoteric vibe, writhing on a bed and banging her pink head along with the music as she bemoans the irresistible pain of love. There’s a definite red theme going on too, which either means something deep, or else she’s a big Taylor Swift fan.
