The E! Network has always been known for its celebrity news reporting, “True Hollywood Stories”, and reality shows, but this year they are changing things around with a handful of scripted programming for the first time.

 

A new series coming to E! that caught our attention is a scripted "reality" show that features the Grammy-nominated pop music trio, the Jonas Brothers! The Ryan Seacrest-produced show will be called “Married to a Jonas,” starring the oldest JoBro, Kevin Jonas, his wife Danielle Jonas, and comedian Whitney Cummings, and will premiere on August 19. The show will follow the pop star and his wife as they live their daily lives in their New Jersey home while balancing his recording and touring schedule and their family.

 

Kevin Spacey and John Wells are among the names involved in E!’s transformation, producing a slew of shows themselves. Wells is creating a series titled “Anne of Hollywood”, which will be a reimagining of the story of Anne Boleyn and King Henry VIII reset in present-day Hollwood. Meanwhile, Spacey is producing a Silicon Valley drama titled “Upstairs”.

 

So, be on the look out for all of the new slate of original E! programming that's about to premiere, which won’t be difficult... there are nine shows in the works!
