Its official – Fairy tales do indeed come true! This summer will see Christian Louboutin, shoe designer extraordinaire, working alongside Walt Disney World designers to recreate a new interpretation of the infamous Cinderella glass slipper. The new design, to be revealed this summer in honor of Walt Disney’s re-release of Cinderella on Blu-ray will be bestowed with the designer’s own personal ‘magic touch.’ This collaboration highlights the incredible influence Disney seemingly has on fashion trends across the globe.
From Disney-inspired apparel -- think couture collections from Sue Wong’s Walt Disney Signature Collection and swimwear from Tavik, to the incredible jewelry ranges of Tom Binns, inspired by Alice in Wonderland -- Disney is making its presence known.
