When one thinks of the name David Beckham, the phrase perfection often comes to mind before even thinking of him as a soccer star. Not only is the man genetically perfect, he has the perfect wife, perfect kids (with perfect names), and he gets paid a perfect 27 million dollars a year to kick a ball, and look pretty much perfect doing it. January 11th marked the day that Americans realized that Beckham was not only put on the planet to give us something incredible to look at, but was the newest (and sexiest) addition to the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team. Beckham signed a 5 year contract with the Galaxy for an estimated 27.5 million dollar base salary beginning July 1, 2007. In addition to a resume filled with soccer titles and sports endorsements, Becks also dabbled in the world of reality television with his wife Posh (formerly of the pop group The Spice Girls), called Victoria Beckham: Coming to America. Beckham is also currently working on a movie to be released in 2008 (in the UK only) entitled, Goal 3. Not too shabby! Whether you are a fan of soccer or a fan of Beck's flawless looks, the good news remains the same; LA is officially perfect Beckham has moved to tinseltown!
