Fans across the glove were stunned when Danity Kane lost two of its original members in a dramatic season finale of Making the Band. I had the chance to talk to fan favorite D Woods for her take on the break!

Me: People were shocked when Diddy broke up the band -- what did you take from that experience?

D: I took away an experience that was a stepping stone to advance my career. This experience will always be apart of me but it will not break me. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to be 1/5 founding member of multi-platinum success group Danity Kane!
Me: In difficult times, how do you stay positive and keep going?
D: I go to God!

Me: Would you work with a group again?
D: Most definitely, I'm actually a founding member of a much larger group and better known as an entertainment sorority called The Girls Club.

Me: What can we expect from you in 2009?
D: Expect the unexpected (live performances, new music and to see me on a tv and film screen near you) hint hint!

Me: Are you dating right now? Any celeb crushes?
D: I'm definitely married to my work right now. My celeb crush is Hill Harper

Favorite movie? The Five Heartbeats
Favorite CDs right now? Lil' Wayne's Dedication Mix tape featuring Yung Money and Cindy Lauper Greatest Hits
Favorite junk food? Lemon chicken wings
