Cult Beauty Favorites: Does Your Product Make the List?

It's the latest Maybelline commercial shoot in NYC, so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

In the meantime, it got me thinking in black and white terms. When it comes to beauty products, there are time tested cult favorites that leave no gray area. If you want results, these will get you there!

MAYBELLINE GREAT LASH MASCARA: In the pink tube with green handle, a true classic in every makeup artist's arsenal.

AQUA NET: Old school sticky stuff in a can. It does not get any more hard-headed than this. Not to be used in place of a helmet.

LAURA GELLER SPACKLE: This oil-absorbing primer is applied before foundation or powder so makeup goes on smooth and lasts longer. "You can use it on your neck and the back of your hands for a more luminous look too. The light reflectors make the skin glow," says creator Laura Geller.

LIPFUSION PLUMPING GLOSS: The first of its kind and an instant cult fave. It works by delivering collagen to the lips, which is absorbed and pulls in moisture to create a temporary plump effect.

LANCOME JUICY TUBES: Another first in the lip department, Lancome CREATED the squeeze lip gloss, which is still a top seller.

YSL TOUCHE ÉCLAT: This light-reflecting concealer is beloved by the pros, nicknamed "8 hours of sleep in a pen."

NARS ORGASM BLUSH: When it comes to getting cheeky (pun!), this delivers a perfect glow to almost any skin tone.

KIEHL'S CREME DE CORPS: This soft, supple lotion has been pulling fans since 1851. Enough said!

SMITH'S ROSEBUD SALVE: At $6 this practically does it all; lips, chapped hands, unmanicured nails, pretty much any dry area that needs softening and smoothing. Also, it smells pretty.

SHU UEMURA EYELASH CURLER: Shu Uemura is a Hollywood makeup icon, known for innovative and functional products. While other lash curlers exist, the question is: why?

AVEDA SHAMPURE SHAMPOO: Keeps hair clean without removing color or natural oils; even after multiple uses daily. Great for all hair types too.
