Case in point: Cristophe professional hair care.
Although I love my regular shampoo, my last shopping spree at CVS stumpled upon Cristophe Beverly Hills Volumizing Shampoo on sale. For $3 (normally $8) I just had to try it!
If you're like me, it's not a matter of how much hair you have - it's the texture. I have a ton of hair but its baby fine. A lot of products clean well yet fail to give my hair a boost. After a wash it's flat and unmanageable so I end up having to put a ton or product to make it stay in place.
I noticed a difference after about three washes; therefore I decidedly like this shampoo and highly recommend it. I can't say it's made my hair suddenly change texture, but you can't expect that. However it's no longer completely limp and lifeless after a wash.
Good news for the rest of y'all: Cristophe makes products for all hair types.
The fine folks who rep the line sent me a mixed bag of stuff, which I happily passed on to some lucky people who were just as happy to try some free samples! For example, a friend of mine has beautiful curly hair and she raves about the hydrating products. Formulated for curly, dry or damaged hair, she particularly loves the the Hydrating curl balm, which calms contours and defines her shizz by controlling the frizz!
They also make a great three-in-one conditioning spray that conditions, detangles and protects hair from styling heat plus guards against sun damage with added SPF. There's also a men's line, color extending and smoothing products, plus a new Purely Natural option that's free of sulfates, parabens, fragrance and dyes.
For the look you get in a salon without the high-end price tag, go Cristophe.
