Fashion 101: Know the basics! I recruited celebrity stylist Sam Saboura who's dressed everybody from the Osbournes to Cindy Crawford in a mission to define a Top 10 item list for your closet. He has you covered from top to bottom, including the right color of panties so they don't show through!

#10 Bra: If you have not been properly fitted for a bra, he says, get busy!

#9 Panties: A seamless panty is a must-have and all your best undergarments should be purchased in NUDE not white, Sam advises.

#8 Earrings: A great medium-sized hoop in gold or silver, you choose the metal you love.

#7 Sunglasses: It's all about what works best for your face shape, he says. [see YH's guide to glasses An aviator style is always classic and sexy for both men and women.

#6 Jeans: You must have at least one pair of dark jeans that fit perfectly. They should be able to double for a basic black pant.

#5 The Perfect Top: A pretty chiffon top in a rich solid color or feminine print is a great fashion-forward basic, Sam says. For guys, a soft washed button down shirt in a solid or print is cool and modern.

#4 The Jacket: For women, a fitted, girly blazer is best, he suggests. For guys, a slim or fitted sport coat with a modern lapel is a great choice.

#3 Shoes: You can't go wrong with a basic pump; I prefer a peep toe with a slight platform. For guys, I love a classic leather loafer in a rich brown.

#2 Hats are my personal go to fashion staple! A good cap makes the look and covers a bad hair day, although Sam also likes a modern headband or a printed scarf as a head accessory for women.

#1 Most Important Item: Accessories! You really only need one accessory to make a difference and you can do this on the cheap seasonally. He suggests trying your local vintage store. You can get some amazing jewelry and accessories for under $10 and trade them out season after season. This will keep you on trend without having to update your entire wardrobe.

His picks: A bold statement or bead necklace, some layering chains, a simple charm necklace, a bunch of classic bangles in metal and resin, and a vintage inspired cuff.
