I honestly feel bad for Sarah Larson. I mean, she was hated. Unjustly so.Not trying to be mean, but it's true. Blogs, comment boards and print magazines were not particularly nice to George Clooney's ladylove. Sour grapes, methinks.I'm sort of sad they broke up. I just thought it was nice for the guy. I mean, why shouldn't he be happy and in love and stuff.Celebrity relationships are delicate and tricky. I suppose this is why many try to keep their status a secret. Eventually, the two lovebirds will come out as a couple, which everyone already knew but now that they're saying it's true, everybody talks about all over again.Kind of like when you hear a rumor that a couple of your co-workers hooked up and then they show up at a company social event hand in hand.It's so high school in the girl's bathroom. And totally fun. We feel a connection to our favorite stars because we welcome them into our homes; we make them part of nights out with friends and invite them with us on date night. What we know about their private lives kind of makes them like our friends, who we also gossip about.Just for shizz and giggles, let's do a quick Young Hollywood roundup of some favorite celebrity couples!Jessica Alba & Cash Warren: Another non-celebrity who's often bashed for no apparent reason, but Cash forged past the weirdo evil blogger backlash, the two got married and just had a baby girl they call Honor. Good on ya, mates!Jake Gyllenhaal & Reese Witherspoon: The rumors started last year, but the couple wouldn't comment on the nature of their relationship - except to say how much they admired each others, uh, acting talents. You know, because they were in that movie together. 'Memba that? It's what got this party started! By the end of the year, they were taking vacations together and Jake was hanging with the kids. So! Adorable!Penelope Cruz & Javier Bardem: Longtime friends, rumor had it the two might be more than that when they began shooting Woody Allen's new movie last summer. The following October, they were spotted kissing on the beach during a romantic getaway in the Maldives islands. I see a trend here...Jennifer Aniston & John Mayer: Also took a vacation together! I just love that celebs can make those first few ultra romantic weeks and take it to the next level. Namely, a five-star resort in the Pacific.Chris Brown & Rhinna: Though they've maintained that they're just good friends, long lens paparazzi is a part of 2008 and they got caught canoodling in a McDonald's or something. It wasn't exactly all that private of a situation. So, they're basically out. And they've moved right in to my heart! I adore both of their music and they make an absolutely beautiful couple.
