Carrie Underwood never met a vehicle she didn’t wanna write a song about. Indeed, cars have been an instrument of revenge in her music before (“Before He Cheats”, anyone?), but she takes it to a whole ‘nother dark level in her new single and music video, “Two Black Cadillacs”.

 

She sure does know how to spin a yarn, don’t she? In this decidedly pop-friendly track, Carrie weaves a torrid tale of deception, betrayal, and ultimately, MURDER! (*cue lightning and thunderclap*) Basically, two women strung along by the same man decide to forego scratching each other’s eyes out on “Jerry Springer” in favor of giving their mutual cad some serious what-for… However, there seems to be a third culprit in this dirty little crime, taking this video from Lifetime Original Movie to Stephen King Short Story.
