Caitlin Crosby's "Keys" to Success

Singer-Actress Caitlin Crosby continues to be positive after MTV announced back in August that it would not renew the comedy "The Hard Times of R.J. Berger" for a third season. Crosby played Amy, R.J.’s math tutor and love interest in the show.

Lucky for Crosby, though, she has quite a bit going on (and we mean A LOT!) -- In June, she released an EP titled Crosby, Skills, & Nash, with her friend, Jay Nash. The EP, which was a follow up to her very first album, FLAWZ (2009), inspired Crosby and gal pal Brie Larson to create Love Your Flawz, a Website that encourages people to, well, love their flaws!

However, that’s not the only way Crosby is spreading positivity! She is also the creator of an organization called The Giving Keys, the purpose of which is to pay it forward. For $30, customers can buy a one-of-a-kind key with the inspirational word of their choice engraved in it. However, you must give the key away at some point when you come across a person who needs the inspirational message more than you do. Here’s the real kicker -- the keys are engraved by the homeless. The homepage of the website says, “We employ the homeless, to get them off the streets & give them a chance at a better life.” After giving away their key, people are encouraged to share their stories on the Website. How cool is that!?

On September 8, Crosby and The Giving Keys participated in some of the Fashion’s Night Out festivities at RonRobinson and Fred Segal in Los Angeles. When she wasn’t playing songs, she was stamping custom keys!

If there's truth to the saying, “what goes around comes around,”  then we know that this girl has a very exciting future ahead!
