Bieber and Gaga Take Over 2011 EMAs

Last night saw Belfast, Northern Ireland, play host to the MTV Europe Music Awards, with teen queen Selena Gomez hosting the show. The list of performers were as star-studded as one would expect: Lady Gaga, Coldplay (who opened the show with "Every Teardrop is A Waterfall"), Bruno Mars, LMFAO, Justin Bieber, and Queen (who received the Global Icon award) were just a few of the stars taking to the stage.

Gaga turned out to be the big winner of the night, taking home four awards: Best Female, Biggest Fans, and Best Song and Video for her hit "Born This Way". She also performed her new single "Marry The Night" for the first time and accepted her awards wearing a hat which covered her whole face -- as only Gaga could!

Justin Bieber also did well, receiving Best Pop and Best Male, as well as performing "Mistletoe" and "Never Say Never", while Katy Perry won Best Live and presented Queen with their award. They closed the show with a medley, featuring "American Idol" alum Adam Lambert on vocals.

Another "highlight" of the show was when former "Heroes" star Hayden Panettiere was interrupted by a streaker while presenting Best Song -- oh the perils of live TV!

All in all, the EMAS proved to be a show that had a little scandal, crazy outfits and great performances... Just like Europe!
