It's always a treat to be on the receiving end of freebies and fortunately the good products keep coming! Here's why Kim Kardashian, Ana Ortiz, Brooke Burke, Gloria Estefan (and me) are big fans of Dr. Garth Fisher of "˜Extreme Makeover' and his CellCeuticals PhotoDefense SPF 55: Firstly, let me note (again) that I absolutely don't do favors for freebies! If I've tried them, only the very best show up here. I'm not going to waste my time writing about stuff I don't like. In fact, CellCeuticals PhotoDefense was almost overlooked because I was certain I wasn't going to like it.
Upon initial investigation, just the indication of SPF 55 led me to believe this would be a thick, chalky product. Generally anything over SPF 30 is akin to cake frosting. After opening, I also suspected the super-white cream would give my skin a pale, ghostlike glow.
So, it turns out I was completely wrong. That happens at least once a year! CellCeuticals has a light consistency and glides on easily without lea ving a white sheen behind. Plus, there's a bunch of stuff in there that's good for your skin. It's science!
"CellCeuticals has transformed my skin despite all of my traveling and photo shoots," Kim Kardashian raves. "My skin is so much smoother now."
52-year-old Gloria Estefan says CellCeuticals helps her with age lines: "After just TWO weeks of using the product, my skin looked and felt firmer. It was radiant. Natural aging lines virtually became invisible. It is amazing!"
"˜Ugly Betty' beauty Ana Ortiz is another convert. "I really see a difference in my skin after using CellCeuticals Biomedical Skin Treatments," she says.
I don't know about all of you, but I'd much rather wear sunscreen now than need (even more) Botox later. Also, cancer. The entire CellCeuticals skincare line, a five product anti-aging system, sells for $35-$80.
