In December 2006, open casting calls were held for Oxygen's newest reality television show, The Bad Girls Club. Seven bad girls were chosen and confounded to living quarters in Hollywood, CA with the goal of turning their lives around. The producers, who also are co-creators of MTV's The Real World, know the outcome of placing complete strangers together in one house chaos. From a Country singing pop star to a down to earth bisexual, the diverse backgrounds stir up unpredictable trouble weekly. Suspense each week builds and conflict arises between the different women. The prevalent issues of the women in the house have become a comedic showcase for viewers. Alcoholics, lustful crushes, and backstabbers create a script like no other reality TV show. Women duke it out, ratings increase and the Bad Girls Club is the hottest reality show of 2007. The lives of these bad girls are pure entertainment and have audiences hooked.
