Ariana Grande's Latest Single is No "Mistake"!

There’s nothing we love more than variety – we love different styles in our closets, we love scary movies, and we love a good tear-jerker. But most of all… we love variety in our music.

There’s nothing better than an artist who can pump us up for a night out, but who we can still listen to at night when we get in our "feels" (you know it’s true). And this is exactly what Ariana Grande has proven to us with her music.

Grande is gearing up for the release of her sophomore album, My Everything, and so far she’s released fun, danceable songs – "Problem", "Break Free", and "Bang Bang" -- but now she’s giving us another taste of her album with "Best Mistake", featuring (for the second time) Big Sean.

We all know that Ariana has a beautiful voice that works well in all ranges, and in "Best Mistake", we get to hear the delicate side of its power.

"Best Mistake" is a pensive piano ballad and tells the story of two people in love, but the cards aren’t in their favor. Ariana sings, "Can we please make up our minds? // And stop acting like we’re blind // ‘Cause if the water dries up // And the moon stops shining // Stars fall, and the world goes blind // Boy you know I’ll be savin’ my love for you."

Big Sean comes in with a rap in the middle of the track, and his lyrics are just as heartfelt. "When you start as friends it’s hard to say you’re never going back // If I’m not the one then I’m the best mistake you ever had."

In the song they sing in attempt to figure out the future of their relationship, because sometimes "to go the distance, we might need to pit stop it."

Check out the track below and let us know what you think of it in the comments!
