Corsets are no longer a painful thing of the past, thanks, in part, to Ani&Ari. Sisters Danielle (the "Ani") and Ariel Tredway (the "Ari") have found a way to not only bring the corset back, but bring it back in style.
While they only officially launched their company this past November, Ani&Ari are on the fast track to A-list success at just 25 and 21 years old. Stars like Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, and the Pistol Annies are rocking the form-fitting and incredibly flattering Ani&Ari corsets on stage and on the red carpet, and, most recently, country up-and-comer Katie Armiger sported one in her music video, “Better in a Black Dress”:

Starting a corset company fell into place in the sisters' Chicago apartment in 2009: “When we started following our natural intuition to start the business, we couldn’t ignore the doors that were opening,” said Ariel. “It became obvious that it was what we were supposed to be doing.” With Danielle’s art background from the School of Art Institute of Chicago and Ariel’s Marketing Communication degree from Columbia College, it was only natural for them to put their skillsets to work and create what would come to be Ani&Ari.
The Tredway sisters have captivated audiences from a very young age; from their natural talents in dance and Ariel’s medal-winning snowboarding, to Danielle’s creative touch on a canvas and their incredible eye for detail and sense of fashion, Ani&Ari have naturally landed in the Nashville music scene spotlight, and it’s only a matter of time before they take the rest of the music industry by storm. Check out their Website and keep an eye out for this fashionable sister act!
