I’m sure you’ve all heard about the new Red Dawn remake that is coming to theaters this Wednesday. With a young, refreshing cast including Chris Hemsworth, Josh Peck, and Josh Hutcherson receating the roles originally made famous by the likes of Patrick Swayze, Charlie Sheen, and C. Thomas Howell, this film should generate a good deal of box office buzz! But let’s take a second to spotlight the leading lady in the film, Adrianne Palicki!

 

This Ohio native started her career in small roles on various television series like "Supernatural", "Smallville", "North Shore", and "South Beach". Her big movie role came in Legion where she played Charlie, a pregnant waitress. She also held memorable roles in "Lone Star" as Cat Thatcher and, most notably, "Friday Night Lights" as Tyra Collette. Last year, Adrianne created headlines when she was cast in the very enviable role of Wonder Woman herself in a proposed TV series for NBC, but the network ultimately passed on the project even after the pilot was shot. Which is a bummer, because who wouldn't have liked to see more of THIS every week:

 

 

As you can see, Adrianne is one of those lucky ladies who can pull off any hair color. Blonde, brunette, redhead, she can do it all! You can see beautiful Adrianne as a brunette in Red Dawn in theaters starting today (November 21), where she will still get a chance to kick some butt for the ol' Red-White-and-Blue! Don’t forget to look for her in future movies including G. I. Joe: Retaliation and Coffee Town.
