What do you do on the cosmic day that celebrates the most famous zip code?

If you're the Kardashian Family, Ryan Seacrest, and the man he could have replaced - Larry King - you go to the Taste of Beverly Hills.

The mutli-day festival kicked off Thursday night with a tribute to CNN's outgoing suspenders fan. It's fitting as King is to "news" what E!'s famous family is to "reality shows".  Even errant/mirror-punching semi-Kardashian Scott Disick and brother Rob were invited to put on suits for a virtual "key" to the city. (Last weekend at the Sunset Strip Music Fest, Slash got a key to West Hollywood. Can Young Hollywood get the key to Hollywood next?)

Unlike most Hollywood events, tickets were available, though they were not for the faint of heart - $150 presale.  To make it go down easier, we did get great eats from Mr. Chow, Crustacean, and Conservatory Grill (from the Montage Hotel), and The Humane Society is reaping the leftovers.

In a fittingly surreal moment, Natasha Bedingfield performed. Those who had a TV between 2006-2008 will remember her for singing the theme song to "The Hills".
