5 Fall Movies We're Already Fangirling Over!

Written by Ali Reid. Published: September 18 2017

2017 must be the year of movies because there are way too many great films being released over the next few months. From It and Leap to The Emoji Movie and Spider-Man: Homecoming, we here at Young Hollywood can’t get enough of these blockbusters. Here are 5 movies we are dying to see… and wishing they would be released sooner!

1. Kingsman (September 22)

If you saw the first Kingsman, then you’re probably dying to see the second being released this week!

The first movie was about a spy organization who recruits a street kid into the agency’s ultra competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius. The film was action-packed, exciting, and had surprising twists of unexpected humor.

In the newest film, when their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, the Kingsmans' journey lead them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the U.S. These two elite secret organizations must band together to defeat a common enemy.

If you’re a Channing Tatum fan, get ready because he’ll be making an appearance in this film. (Literally an All-star lineup cast.) You’ll also see appearances from Taron Egerton, Halle Berry, Colin Firth, and Julianne Moore. So many beautiful faces on the screen at one time… i don’t know if we’ll be able to handle it!!

And if you want someone else hot enough to stare at for two hours, you’ll want to check out this next movie.

2. All I See Is You (October 27)

Okay, okay, so this movie sounds incredible. Love is literally blind in this film where Blake Lively plays a blind woman who sees her life differently after her vision is restored.

Lively depicts Gina, a child who was blinded in a car accident that killed her parents. After living almost her entire life with no sight, she goes through with a medical procedure to regain some vision in her eyes.

The movie takes a turn when she realizes her new “perspective” on her marriage with her husband. She starts to see things in a light that she was never able to experience before, and begins to not like the life she had been living… which in turn causes a spiraling downfall to her love life.

While there’s no official trailer out yet, we’ll be waiting on the edge of our seats waiting to see this movie next month!

3. Thor: Ragnarok (October 25)

Chris Hemsworth. ‘Nuff said.

As Thor 3 gets closer and closer, Marvel has been has been releasing new trailers, posters, TV spots and teasers, and we are going crazy with anticipation.

Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, Thor finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor's quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela (Cate Blanchett) from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.

I’m going for the muscles. (But shhh. That’s our little secret!)

4. Coco (November 22)

Despite his family's generations-old ban on music, young Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz (Benjamin Bratt).

Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead. After meeting a charming trickster named Hector (Gael García Bernal), the two new friends embark on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel's family history.

I can’t get over the fact that little Miguel is SO. CUTE. Pixar nevers fails... And we’re positive this movie is going to be a huge success.

5. Paddington 2 (January 12, 2018, in the U.S.; November 10, 2017, in the U.K.)

Yep, that’s right. Paddington is BACK and better than ever. In this sequel, you’ll find Paddington undertaking a number of odd jobs to afford a unique pop-up book from an antique book shop -- a present for Aunt Lucy on her 100th birthday. But when the book is stolen, it's up to Paddington and the Browns to find the thief.

If this movie is anything like the first, we are sure it is going to be a huge hit… we just wish it was being released sooner!
