2012 Summer Concert Tour Guide!

 
Summer is finally in the air! This means it is time to satisfy your eardrums with some of summer’s hottest concerts.
 
To all of you viewers who are reading this at work, do not fret. Give yourself the chance to relive the glory days by checking out your favorite artists in concert this summer! No matter your musical taste, Summer 2012 has a concert tour to suit your liking: For all you older pop lovers, the Queen Madonna will be in town, and for the youngsters there is boy band One Direction. Not into today's mainstream pop? All you old school rock-n-roll lovers can look forward to the Aerosmith and Black Sabbath tours. Not to mention the numerous music festivals approaching, such as Electric Daisy Carnival, RocksStar Mayhem, and Lollapolooza.

Aerosmith: Global Warming Tour
This summer is sure to be a scorcher, because legendary rock group Aerosmith is back in action with their Global Warming Tour. You can expect hit after hit to be performed. Based off of lead singer Steven Tyler’s enthusiasm (displayed this season on "American Idol"), this is a show that no rock lover should miss. Ticket info.
 
 
Justin Bieber
Belieber mania has reached an all-time high with the release of Justin’s latest single, “Boyfriend”, and the anticipated release of his upcoming album Believe. If you’re a fanatic female fan between the ages of 10 and 16, I assume you already have your ticket -- for the rest of you, Justin will be performing at Rockefeller Plaza June 15! Ticket info.
 
 
Madonna
Will she ever slow down? Probably not. The Queen of Pop is hitting the road again, celebrating her latest album, MDNA. Although the state-side leg of her tour doesn’t arrive until August 28, what better way to end your summer with a concert that has already been described as “Mind-blowing?” Ticket info.
 
 
One Direction
If you haven’t heard already, this team of young Brits is literally taking over the world. Technically, their 2012 summer tour is 100% sold out, but their summer 2013 is now on sale (yes, that’s how huge this group has become). Ticket info.
 
 
Electric Daisy Carnival
Probably one of the most vibrant and exciting festivals of the year is the Electric Daisy Carnival... or, the EDC. This electronic music festival arrives in Las Vegas in less than two weeks and will feature some of the biggest names in music today, such as Avicii, Armin van Buuren, and Afrojack. The festival takes place June 8-10. Ticket info.
 
 
Lollapalooza
Lollapalooza returns to Chicago’s Grant Park with a wide variety of music’s elite. Black Sabbath, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and The Black Keys are headlining and are followed by a colorful lineup of supporting acts that include Florence + The Machine, Kaskade, Childish Gambino, The Weeknd, and Temper Trap, to name just a few.
