It’s nothing new that 3D movies have been all the rage these days. I mean, what better way to actually feel like you’re a part of a really good film, right?

 

Well, in the same vein as other musical contemporaries like Justin Bieber and Katy Perry, the world’s favorite boy band -- you guessed it, One Direction -- is getting ready to not only tour the world but release their very own 3D concert documentary, which, as of right now, is aptly titled 1D3D. Catchy and clever, right?

 

Already having played some of the biggest venues in the world, including their very special gig in New York’s famed Madison Square Garden, the documentary is going to be a sneak peek at life behind the scenes for band members Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Harry Styles.

 

Ever wonder what it’s like to be super-famous popstars, touring the globe and performing for millions of fans? Well, 1D3D is going to give you that chance!

 

And it wouldn’t be a proper One Direction project if it wasn’t interactive! Fans eagerly waiting for the documentary to be released are given the opportunity to upload their own 1D-related photo to the band’s movie website to be a part of a mosaic poster to be used when the film hits theaters! How cool is it that?? One Direction is giving their fans a chance to be a part of the all the movie magic and history!

 

The teaser trailer for 1D3D, which was just recently released, shows bits and pieces of life as One Direction, and, coming from this super-obsessed, self-proclaimed Directioner, the targeted release date of August 2013 cannot come soon enough.

This documentary chronicling Ms. Perry during her Teenage Dream era made touring with her look so fun, and we wish we could have gone on stage and sang all of her hit songs with her! Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience

Before 1D and the Biebs were the big boys of the pop music scene, people were going nuts for the Jonas Brothers, and it was easy to see why with this concert flick. They had talent, and it showed when people flocked to movie theaters to see songs like “Year 3000” paired with 3D visuals of Nick, Joe, and Kevin.

 

 

 

 

Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert 3D

It seems like just yesterday we were all gushing over how well Miley Cyrus used to perform as both herself and her alter-ego, popstar Hannah Montana. With the Jonas Brothers as her opening act, and with a setlist that included songs like “Best of Both Worlds” and “See You Again”, this 3D was fangirl perfection.

 

 

 

 

If the 1D3D movie is half as good as any of the aforementioned concert flicks, we are even for a scream-at-the-top-of-your-lungs and fangirl-like-there’s-no-tomorrow musical extravaganza! And it’s all thanks to those five lads from across the Pond.
