Zoe Saldana hides kids' faces online to protect their privacy
Actress Zoe Saldana refuses to show off her twin sons' faces on social media because she doesn't want to "disrespect" her boys by overexposing them during their childhood.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star has been keeping fans updated on Bowie and Cy's progress since their births in November (14), but she has been careful not to include shots of their faces in pictures she posts online, and Saldana admits her hesitation stems from her fear of her sons turning on her when they become teenagers.
She tells Eonline.com, "I just don't want, 16 years from now, to
get, 'You are so disrespectful. You invaded (my privacy), you
exposed me and I wasn't ready'. Even though they're babies and
they're under our care, it's still their face."
She continues, "Right now, they're not in the position to speak for
themselves or make a decision... I don't want to make it for
them."
The twins are Saldana's first children with husband Marco Perego.
The pair wed in 2013.
