Zoe Saldana celebrates 2015 with post about her newborn twins

Actress Zoe Saldana kickstarted 2015 by confirming the recent birth of her twin boys as she thanked fans for their well wishes.

The Avatar beauty and her artist husband Marco Perego welcomed the double bundle of joy in Los Angeles on 8 December (14), but she has only now acknowledged the babies' arrivals with a sweet New Year post on Instagram.com.

On Friday (02Jan15), the new mom shared a Twitter.com snap of two green baby bottles with matching pacifiers and a pair of miniature soft toys alongside the message, "Happy #2015 ! Starting our #NewYear with a fullhouse (sic). Our boys are finally here! Thank U 4 (sic) all the beautiful wishes!"

She then revealed the boys' names in a similar post on Instagram.com, writing, "Our boys CY and BOWIE are finally here. marcoperego and I wanted to thank you for your beautiful wishes and for your patience."

The fiercely private couple secretly wed in England in the summer of 2013.

News of her pregnancy first surfaced in July (14), but she only confirmed the baby joy in August (14).
