Zoe Kravitz joins Harry Potter spin-off film

Zoe Kravitz has entered the Harry Potter universe after signing up for spin-off movie Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.

The Mad Max: Fury Road star has joined a cast that includes Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, and Ezra Miller.

Redmayne will play Newt Scamander in the film, set 70 years before the Harry Potter books and film series, and sources tell The Hollywood Reporter Zoe, who was added after production began, will have a small role in the first film, now in post-production and a more substantial part in the sequel.

Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them is scheduled to hit cinemas on 18 November (16). Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling wrote the screenplay for the project.
