Zoe Kravitz confirms Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy Mad Max feud

Zoe Kravitz has confirmed Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy had issues on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road.

Reports suggesting the British star made filming difficult by refusing to come out of character throughout the shoot circulated in 2012, and one set source told blogger Perez Hilton Hardy and his leading lady did not get along because Theron found it tough to work with intense The Dark Knight Rises star.

Tom subsequently dismissed the rumors, calling the reports "disappointing" and saying Charlize, is "f**king awesome".

In a recent interview he said, "I think she's incredible. I think she's one of the most talented actresses of our generation."

Charlize has also addressed the drama surrounding their issues on set, saying, "From what I hear, he's not like that on every movie. I hear he's had good experiences...

"Maybe the movie is what it is because we struggled so much with each other, and those characters had to struggle so much with each other. If we were chum-chum, maybe the movie would have been 10 times worse."

And now Zoe has confirmed it was difficult for Charlize and Tom to film together, but she insists the feud had nothing to do with the stars' personalities and everything to do with the hard shoot.

"They didn't get along," she told Watch What Happens Live! on Thursday (15Jun17). "We were also in the desert for so long. I think everyone was tired and confused and homesick and we saw nothing but sand for six months... You go crazy."

"I actually don't know if there was one issue, I just think they weren't vibing," she added. "It's like summer camp. At some point, everyone has like some kind of issue with somebody 'cause it's just the way people are."
